About the programme

Train in the heart of Paris, work with world-class faculty and present your own creation.

During these two weeks, participants stay in the centre of Paris and work every day in professional dance studios. Mornings are dedicated to training and input; the afternoons are reserved for artistic creation led by two choreographers per week. The programme is organised by YXIE Academy, in collaboration with Hoboken Dance Academy.

The course concludes with a performance on Saturday of the second week, in which all created pieces are presented to an audience. On the weekends, participants discover the city — with a structured day programme and free time in supervised groups.

Weekends in Paris

Saturday & Sunday, between the weeks
01

Planned mornings

In the morning we visit one of Paris's highlights together — think museums, monuments and iconic spots. Every outing is part of a clear day plan.

02

Free afternoons in groups

The afternoon is free time within supervised groups: shopping, strolling, café terraces or another museum — participants choose for themselves, with their counsellor nearby.

03

Supervision

Four counsellors each supervise a fixed group of ten participants throughout the entire programme. This way there is always a familiar point of contact in the city.
